Title: Took the CV to Barrett Boat Works today

Brough the CV to BBW for estimate on hull repair.
After poking around, found it was cracked (about two feet) on the right inner chine / stake and also cracked (about two feet) on the keel.
The friendly staff at Barrett Boat Works estimated repair would take about a week.

Have heard nothing but great things about Barrett boat works...
You get all three
Hi quality
Fast turn around time
Low cost
But as well-known with these guys their practices and procedures are top-secret so they only show one picture of the finished work

After working day and night, with only a quick 15 minute break .. Boat is done !
Barrett Boat Works is the BEST !

Gregg - I'm guessing your boat was taking on water which is why you cut the floor out?

Now..... if you don't already, put an automatic bilge pump in that CV16.

It has full coverage insurance .. It's worth more if it sinks ..  :o

Looks great. It looks like u put carpet on the bow knee board below the deck? Do you do anything to the transom? Beyond applying the resin? Boat looks fantastic.

Its been 7 years since you did the transom!  Time sure goes by fast.

I look at pictures of when I put the transom in Phoenix and I can't believe it has bee almost 10 years since then!
