That's a sharp looking boat Doug.  Can't wait to see it this fall.

Gee thanks for bursting my bubble Red. Prick! Heh heh heh

Yes personally my greatest fear is it won't be as fast as the V153. Cuz it is heavier. Though Chuck is convinced it'll be as fast or faster. Only time will tell.

Barring any catastrophies I should be on the water next weekend.

Keep us informed of the handling characterists, max MPH, RPMs. What is the motor height on the Baja? Any decisions on future plans for the V-153?

ROFLMAO  !
Serously ... that V-153 of your's was a fast little sucker, I don't think you are going to achieve the same speed with the BaJa, but I really got no idea of what you will get out of it.   The BaJa is a heavier boat, but there is little difference in wet line of the two.  One of the reasons the Glastrons have such a reputation for being fast is the light weight construction ... kinda like a Bayliner.
                                                                            Ooops  !

Hey Doug, my neighbor just bought a 153 Futura that I think he's going to bring to Red Wing to sell. He has a big houseboat right where we pull into the slips.  If ya want another one I know where you can find it.

Thanks Jerry. But the more I think about it I've wreaked enough havoc on a poor 153. Time to move on.

Keep fantasizing about a CV16V8jet but I always wake up beforehand?! Sigh ...

Oh well the Baja oughta be good for a few gits'n shiggles in the meantime.

SeeYa!

Baja's cleanin up nice. Call me old fashioned but 10 or 12 coats of laquer would sho make it purty.

According to JR it's "rainbow" flake. Hope that doesn't make me gay ...

Doug, update your profile for a Baja picture and eventually the Baja MPH. However you may brag about the Baja, we know in your heart of hearts you are true blue Glastron.
