The opposite of boating...
« on: October 08, 2011, 09:36:59 PM »
Goldie's put away for the season.  Between swim meets, football games and running the kids all over...just no time left before the snow flies.

She's up on blocks, winterized and ready to rest until next year.  On the upside...first time in 3 years my truck will be in the garage!

Have fun on the river guys!

I like that bike.

Ahh...the Giant 'Revive'.  Got a wild hair when I saw it on craigslist and bought it.  Very comfortable, planning on a 10 mile ride on it tomorrow actually.

Its a cruiser, big shock for the road...good for flat terrain only.  Hoping to pick up a more serious road bike over the winter.

Sleep tight Goldie!

I think I'm in the same "boat" (sorry, had to do it) schedule wise. Kids sure are busy creatures aren't they?!

I think my 6 year old already has more of a social life than I do! ;D Once school kicks in free time on the weekends sure does dry up.

I wintrerized my CVX18 yesterday too. A good season as far putting some hours on it & it didn't give me a lick of trouble soo it's not all bad.

That's a sad time when you have to put the boat up. Luckily, down her in Louisiana we can take the boats out year round. As long as the motor is drained and protected from any freezes then you're good.

Cool looking cruiser bike. I'm heading out to the Texas Hill Country next weekend for 90 miles and 3600ft of climbing for the LIVESTRONG foundation. Should be about 5000 - 6000 riders attending. Great event.

As for the CVX, I'm about to go swap out the 88 for the 115 so I can take it out the following weekend. I'd like to get in a couple more ski trips before it starts to cool off. Then I'll be down to dinner cruises on the weekends until December.
