Early GT150 Questions

I've got an early, 1971 GT150 that I'm restoring. There were 2 large plastic football shaped emblems on the sides of the boat that are long gone. I've seen replicas on eBay, but the color and resolution is not what I'm looking for. Are there "good as original" versions of these available anywhere? I'd love to find a pair.

Also, there is a small rectangular area surrounded by the aluminum trim (just under the windshield rail) on each side. Is there supposed to be some sort of plastic or vinyl insert there, or are they just painted? Mine was painted black, but it peeled and I want to do it right.

I think some on eBay are just decals / stickers of football emblems.
The stuff from Aaron and Maciej are better then original !
