Title: It floats

Its done and it got wet today . No leaks , water or fuel , i ran it for over two hours straight , took it easy , i spun it to 3800 rpm which around 32 mph . I still have to put more time on it to break in the motor , it ran solid not so much as a hiccup  .

Awesome restoration!  Good to hear first splash day went well.  Better than any new boat by far.

Not surprised at all that the test run when great with your attention to detail. Boat looks great on the water. I sure hope I get the chance to see your boat in person some day. Nice work Gil!!!

       Not many could restore a boat to that extent and
       have it turn out so perfect and have no problems
       the first time out. GREAT JOB!

Thank you all for the kind words , its been a very very long road to get her water worthy again and more than once i considered giving up on the project  . I'm glad i followed through with it , would i do it again      NO      . I'll say this its not going to sit on a trailer its going to get used , after almost ten years she owes me lol . Gil
