I am hoping to get close to 60 MPH out of her. I may be dreaming but with some fine tuning and the correct prop it might be possible. If I can eliminate any drag from the bottom of the hull by super buffing the bottom side of the boat and laying down some super slick wax, who knows 65 MPH?  lol

I had better reinforce the transom for that motor and I suppose I had better take and put 120 HP stickers on the hood so at least it looks legal.  lol

Nah, I am getting too old for racing anymore. If I was him I would make it a sleeper and rebadge that motor (hood) with a 120 decal to at least look legal. US Coast Guard wouldn't be too happy to see that much HP on that boat. The fine I believe is something like $2500 on International waterways. Sheriff and/or DNR might and I say MIGHT be a little more lenient when it comes to overpowering a boat that is rated max 120HP
