New member with a newly restored Glastron... It was my family boat since I was little... I rescued it from a pole barn where my Dad was storing it... Had not seen water in 10 years... It had shag carpeting from our house and was rotting... You gotta see the "before" and "after" pics... I sunk more money into the boat than it was worth... But the sentimental value is priceless... Besides... How often do you see a gold boat like this? It sure turns a lot of heads at the lake... This summer will be my second summer with it... I now get to share it with my kids like my dad did with me growing up.

Yep. Boat looks awesome! Always good to see an old Glastron get saved. Hope we get a chance to see it in person too on the water.

Hey there John,

Excellent work on that interior and welcome to the group! I joined in 2009 but didn't participate in the forum (kinda forgot about it for a while) then went to the annual meet in Red Wing for the first time last year.

It's a great group of guys and girls and the big meets and even the smaller "hey I'm going out this weekend, anyone want to join me" meet-ups are a heck of a lot of fun.

Hope to see you on the water!

Hey all! Really looking forward to an outing... We live in Wayzata and like to take her out on Lake Independence... The profile is so low that Minnetonka would literally capsize her :-)

She shines like the sun... All glittery and gold... LOL

First photo has a great SEG !
We have been going to Miss. river & MN. river the last few years, less traffic/wakes.

Boating season is gettin' close ...
I'm a fair weather boater, has to be above 80 degrees .... LOL
