Fun over the 4th with the 1900
« on: July 07, 2019, 11:16:35 PM »
Just a quick couple of vids from our lake time over the last week.  1900 ran great, but is hard starting...having to pump and pump the handle and crank and crank.  Runs and idles great once its going, and never left us stranded, but sure hard to kick it over.

My daughter wakeboarding 5 mos after her torn ACL surgery.  It was a goal of hers to be able to wakeboard during the week, and she made it!

Lost a tire on the way home...thankfully, I had a brand new spare to put on.

Nope, the difference between a steel fender and aluminum...probably contributed to the tire having the tread peeled off of it.  lol.

Sounds like the new craft is a success, with a few minor items to address.  Hard starting could be several items related to fuel or ignition, have you had time to check out plugs, fuel pump, carb, etc?

Honestly, no.  The only thing that I noticed during the week was a low idle in the water.  I adjusted that a bit higher (from 550 to 850/900) and that improved things quite a bit.  My honest belief is a fuel issue.  My guess is that fuel is running back into the tank when its off and has to suck it up every time I start it up...but now that I'm home I can investigate further.
