Looks like he's heading right for that yacht. Maybe not as close as it looks?

Actually it wound up purty close to the the yacht Ross. Upright, incredibly. They managed to get it lashed against up the side of the big boat & that's how they hauled it back to the pits.

Throttleman was uninjured which is quite a feat considering the damage to his side. Driver sustained a small cut on his thumb ...  Can you say lucky?

It's suspected that the drive broke, causing the crash.

Here's the boat beforehand: Feel sorry for them as they're one of the lower budget Mom'n Pop Teams. But those are the breaks. I'll bet at this point they're just thankful to be alive?

The aptly named "Kami Kazi" boat got the best air: I can't imagine how they don't over heat spending that much time in the air?

Great shots!
Not my helicopter nor camera, but gotta bunch more pics if'n y'all are interested. This boat was my favorite: Very subdued'n very badazz. Rumored to be sponsored by some oil rich sheik from Dubai? Well who cares where the money comes from, long's it keeps the boats runnin ...?
