Ahhh Memories!!!  Looks like quite the project. This a newly acquired home for you or are you looking to make it feel like it is???  I enjoy a good remodel project too ... at least in the beginning and after it's finished!

Did the basement a few months back ... Now the main level and upstairs when thats done.
We've been here for almost 20 years and in need of a refresh/update.
This stuff is way beyond my capacities ...
But I'm good at ripping stuff out !

Looks great Greg. Alittle bit of pain during the process. Sounds like your whole house is going through the remodel - basement, main level, kitchen, and upstairs. When finished, it will be like a new house.

We went through the basement finishing 28 years ago and I remember it well. Clean up after the workmen each night. Make selections with Joy at stores, change our decision, sand sheet rock, and try to stuff the building materials in the trash barrel.

Quite extensive Gregg. Its nice to see you still have your recliner!
I like remodeling too, but have never had the luxury of having someone else do it and it usually one room at a time. At least you have other floors to escape too.
IMO sanding sheetrock is the WORST! I did buy a thing that hooks up to a shop vac and sucks the dust into a 5 gal pail of water and it works pretty good at keeping the dust down but it still sucks.

I prefer to have women around 10 or 11 PM. Then get in a good nights sleep ...

Lookin good Gregg. But being divorced now I'd be perfectly happy with this setup:

Very nice Gregg. I did spot what looked like a Glastron crammed into the back of the garage (find Waldo).

That place looks beautiful Gregg, hope you got some bonus points with the wife on this one!  I've seen "model homes" for builders that didn't look as nice as yours, PLEASE don't let my wife see these pics!

Both of you can be proud that the project turned out so elegantly. You can enjoy this completed project every day for years to come. Is there any thing left to do? Again, congratulations.
