Tuesday, September 4, was a warm sunny day which my wife, Joy, and I took advantage of by driving around Lake Pepin. Stops were an apple orchard in St. Croix Bluffs, Prescott, Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Pepin, Wabasha, and Red Wing. The leaves were not quite at full color. Alot of older men in Corvettes with their significant other. Hard to find a restaurant in Pepin since some places are only open 7 AM to 2 PM or only from Thursday through Sunday. Thoughts of cashing out of all possessions and either buying a motor home or a live-on boat.
