when I downloaded this picture, I had to go out to the shop and check these boards to see if they were flat across or not, what do you guy's say ?

Yeah, Illusion because of the transom and the camera is tilted and that adds to it. Besides we know you wouldn't unintentionally put anything together crooked Red.

Yes ... it sure looks like they are crooked to me, so I had to go out and double check , when I put the pic's on my computer they looked like that, but they are flat as a string line, pictures are decieving.

I think Joe nailed it. It's cuz of the angled cuts on the transom.
Here's another example: In this pic it kinda looks like the inner panels of the 'flotation boxes' lean outward, but they don't.
