yes the hood is two pieces and the scoop is functional in the front and rear, but even after a hard rain water never hits the motor. it is attached on either side only by fiberglass matting and resin. somebody put some screws through the top to hold it in place long before i ever saw it. i wont have any pics of the underneath until i cut the shrink wrap off

Cool I never realized that the scoop was actually functional. I am sure you have seen this piece of marketing literature before but just in case not. I like how they that make sure to state that the new California Special isn't quite as fast as the Intimidator!.....LOL
