Can you tell which is new?

Over the winter I got the piece of teak Kip gave me cut up to match the old one. Turned out pretty nice. Covered both with some spar urethane and should hold up for years to come.

I would guess the top one is new - the screw holes look cleaner … Otherwise, fantastic match.  I like spar urethane - learned my lesson to stir it up slowly & well, then let it sit so the bubbles rise and pop.

Actually the bottom one is the new one. When I was drilling one of the countersunk holes the drill bit caught the edge and ripped a nice junk out....oh well.

I had a neighbor help me Ross as I don't have a planner or table saw. I can do a little bit. More rustic stuff. We just had a couple birch trees tip over so I am trying to think of some stuff to make out of that. I got another huge oak that died so I am going to get that milled up and make some more tables and stuff.
