Bruce's White and Blue Glastron/Carlson CVX-20 has a New Home
« on: September 15, 2014, 09:45:36 PM »
Bruce Johnson (Kilroybay), the owner of this boat died years ago. Chris Kochmann was close to both the owner and the owner's daughter(Challengerbaby). Chris's purchase of this boat was in the works for years, and he was finally able to tow it home.

Yep, that is one of the major mods to the boat.   the removal and relocation of the helm along with the recessed dash removal.

Boy is that ever cool.  Congrats on adding that masterpiece to your vast collection.
You should just keep that up in MN so you have something to use when you visit.

Great news Chris. Congrats!

I have some of the same pics and stumble on them once in awhile. Then sit and wonder what was up with Kilroy's boat.

Way to go!

One goal is to get Bruce's daughter Kimberly behind the wheel on the water.  She was not able to ever join her dad on the boat and has only so much as seen it but for a couple times.  I met her over there a couple years ago when I decided to buy the boat.  Kimberly used to ski in her earlier days.  All of their family were avid skiers and had  a champagne CVX-20 yrars ago.  She has not been in a Jet boat since and aside from when I took this picture, she has never been in Bruce's boat.

At this point just wishful thinking. I'm almost ready to park the motorhome for the winter. We had it out once this year.
