Minnesota River from Fort Snelling to Valley Fair and back? Banks are still high, Ft. Snelling is open, so BYOF at Fort Snelling? Have not talked to the wife about the weekends plans, but lets sent out feelers. Saturday would be a better day for me. May have a commitment Sunday.  If not this weekend, the weekend after Labor Day weekend.

White Bear might be okay on a week end after Labor Day, but crowded before then.

You know I'm always game for WBL, my boat lives there 24/7 now. It's never crowded honestly, I think casual boaters have been scared off my the supposed "low water level". I've had no issues at all this year, the shallow areas are clearly marked, and the prop busting ridge is above water, no reason it should cause anyone problems. We're also up a foot from the start of the year and the water's great, let me know when you're headed out and I'll come meet you.

Didn't see the post for this weekend but I'd love to make a run either on White Bear or a river run either Labor Day weekend (Sunday is out though) or the weekend after. Hopefully we can make something happen!

Ok, unfortunately I work every weekend for the forseeable future and I know week day events aren't very popular but that's when I can go mon - wed so if anyone is free then I'd go anywhere in the metro.  I was on the missippi last wednesday with amy (anoka to elk river).  Moved the engine up two holes on the transom and it ran so much better, only thing it didn't do better was top end stayed the same.  Planed out sooo fast and stayed on plane at way slower speeds, rode smoother...should have done that long ago.

Yep, and tried a 21p prop...21 is too much prop and i don't get the rpm's high enough and I move the pin any more and it cavitates or whatever, I'm going to try and get a rebuild kit for the trim see if I can get it to work better.

Anyways anyone wanting to go boating mon - wed let me know...I'LL GO.

Yes, we were on the river for about an hour and a half and when I pulled the plug not a drop of water came out.  I pulled the 18 gallon tank out of the front of the boat and will probably just use 6 gal portable gas tanks for the rest of the summer.

Glad to hear things went well Sean. I'd hate to hear that my boats twin was having serious trouble! As for me, my new solenoid arrives at West Marine by the end of the week so hopefully that will be the end of trim jury-rigging and wire switching for me!
