Title: SOLD. Rare 1975 Glastron Vagabond Camper
Post by: dszczucinski on May 06, 2019, 02:16:49 PM
Afternoon all!

My friend and I have decided this is just too much boat for us, and we want it to be used and enjoyed! Featured in last years calendar, this rare beast has only 112 original hours, yes that is right, 112. We purchased it from the original owner who only took it out every now and then with her grandson. It is in excellent condition for the age, and has the original upholstery. Last year all four trailer tires and bearings were replaced in addition to the wiring. The carburetor was rebuilt and tuned. Has a new impeller and battery. Shifts like butter and drives excellent. It has a Ford Windsor 302 V8, with a Glastron (presume Volvo) outdrive. The bimini top is original but does have a patch. We are asking $9500 OBO. Serious inquiries only please! Hours will rise as we are going to use it now that it is summertime.

Seriously this boat will not disappoint, and you'll never find another with such low hours. It is located in Lawrence, KS and can be shown by appointment only (no tire kickers please). Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you! We are actually a little sad to sell it... but its a 22ft boat that feels like a 30ft boat lol. But, we will definitely be enjoying it until it finds a new owner lol.

Bump! Had it out on the water yesterday. Drove excellent. We did discover it needs a new cooling hose which is getting replaced this week. Oh, and the hours are now 115 as we have been enjoying it lol.

That is a beautiful boat! Do you have a trailer for it?
