Title: Engine ventilation
Post by: Allblueacr on October 07, 2020, 04:30:44 PM
On my 85 CVX18 the rear flotation is long gone and the ventilation consists of the open vents, no hoses and a blower just pulling air from the open void on the starboard side. I have sourced the original collector boxes and installed them but where in the upright partitions by the engine should I punch 3 holes and route the hoses? Low as possible on both sides? High on port side ( intake hose) low on starboard ( blower suction) side?
Thanks

Mine are high on the starboard side Intake of air and low on the port side With the blower.

All my boats are that way.

Thank you. One hose each side? ( collector boxes have 2 holes in each)
