Moonlight cruise on the st croix tonight
« on: August 19, 2013, 03:52:34 PM »
At some point I had decided I wanted to spend tome on the water under the light of the full moon...
Seems like tonight will be the best shot we have so call me crazy, but were doing it.
Plan is to launch in Hudson around 7:30, stop and swim on the island there for a bit then head south to the no wake at Afton an hang out till its dark 10:00 or so. Some friends of ours live right there just north of the marina so may stop their or meet them on the water. Any one else is welcome to join us.

That's awesome.  The water can be a bright place under a full moon - we use to leave between 3 and 4 to go fishing in the gulf and follow the channel beacons out ... always loved a late moon when we went.
