Now that I am finishing up on Phoenix Rising's upgrade I am finding myself starting to turn my attention to the CVZ project again. Its been quite here at work today so I started looking at seat pedestals. I am wondering if anyone could tell me what the height of the original pedestals would be? I am thinking they are 7.5" with a slight tilt, but I am not sure.

I can show you pictures of my 'original' seats made from 4x4 treated lumber!!!

I have seen those! :o

I purchased some Springfield ones, and just cut them down.

Brandon, here's a pic of the pedestal from my CVX. They do tilt back. Are they the same as the ones in a CVZ?
Not a good view of the tape measure.
Anyway it's 4 3/4in. at the center, 4 1/2 in. at the rear and 5 in. at the front
The base is 7 1/2in. wide and 10 in. long.
The top (were the seat mounts) is 6 1/4 in. square.

i would really love to have the seat dementions for the cvx 1976 to 78 the rounded ones not the square with buttons

Sorry Brandon, my z has aftermarket seats that use a flush mount and pin arrangement. Sit really low, but feel like the correct height at speed. Let me know if you need any pics or dims of my seats.

I picked up a set of original bases a while back.
