OH NO!!  DUSTY KITTIES...

none of the responses that come to mind are forum appropriate Barb... gonna have to let that one go!  ;D

I guess they could be DEAD KITTIES with no air holes.

Good point... I withdraw my statement.  ;)

Hey Red... I'd say no loss on not getting the other Scimitar, you've got the one to have, real beauty.

Yep,  I got the scimitar I want, and just look what I brought home today !
the new "Fox Den"  she Love's this one, I'm going to try to get it back in the water by mid November
It's a 1973 26ft SeaCamper, had a 140 Mercruiser in it, but it will have a small block Chevy in it pretty soon.

That thing is cool! There's times I miss my houseboat. Should be alot of fun for ya, and with a planing hull, you'll have that thing cookin across the water, probably be quite the sight to behold. Be sure to get some video of that!

Well I'm tempted to challenge you to make it go 60+, but I know you got other projects to get to, and Fox probably didn't have holding on to the grab bar in mind when she approved this one!  ;)

Set it up nice, I spent years going every weekend, all weekend long on mine, rain or shine. Nothing beats sleeping on the water, waking up and cookin breakfast, and enjoying it while staring out on the water with your feet kicked up. People used to ask me what I did when it rained. I told 'em... same thing I do when it doesn't.

I think maybe you told me you had a houseboat before, so I think you know what I'm talkin about.

Red, when you get it finished and in the slip at the lake, give me the code to the gate and I'll bring the grill and steaks, a bottle of something appropriate, Kat, and the naming ceremony with me.

I was on the list 6 years for that slip. next on the list four years, the call was on my phone when we got back from Red Wing two years ago, there has hardly been enough water in the lake to put a boat in the lake for the most part of that time, it's a 15 X 32 covered slip that faces the mouth of the harbor, normal water level 9/10ft depth at  the slip.

I like it! Looks cozy and solid and a nice spot out back to sit protected from the weather. Very pratical. I'd like to see how the inside is laid out. Is there a head in there? Galley? Beds? I suppose it has all 3

Ross, all the inside stuff has been removed to remodel, only the helm station and a/c is still in place, it's a total project.
