What is the material on the side of the dog house? Is it vinyl upholstery material or stick on contact type plastic? Mine is gone of course.
The white material on the doghouse (and on the top of the gunwhales) is a no-skid vinyl/plastic contact paper. I think it's available at marine stores or even at a local bed-n-bath or plumbing supply because it's the same stuff you can stick down in a bathtub.
I noticed you bow light looks different Rich. The one I got with this looks the same as the one on my 67 Bayflite except it has a peice of metal sticking out of the hole for a flag. Not sure how you attach a flag to that stub but I think its removable.
I changed my bow light to a modern style, a revamp of the 70's vintage lights. When I got the boat it didn't have the original light but I've got several original '67 lights sitting on a shelf, all in new condition. Your light is the original style for that model/year. The stub sticking out looks like the remnants of what used to be a burgee pole, broken off and stuck in there. It should just pull right out.
I love that pic of your engine bay....how Full it looks. That 140 looks giant.
That's not a 140.
My boat originally came with a 120 Mercruiser. During my rebuild I upgraded the whole engine & drive package to a mid/late 80's Alpha package with a Mercruiser 3.7 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 4 barrel Rochester Q-Jet carburetor that puts out between 170-190 horsepower. Since that pic was taken I've made some upgrades to the engine - alternator conversion kit, new plug wires and cap, Pertronix electronic ignition conversion, electric fuel pump conversion, replaced exhaust riser/elbow, replaced heat exchanger for the closed cooling system. I've still got the 120 engine and original drive parts, available for anyone who needs parts.

The finish in yours is very nice as is the interior. You had a lot more to work with then I do!
Thanks, the interior was all original and in decent condition, however there are a lot of rips in the seats.
