I was waiting to see if anyone caught that.!! No we destroyed that sitting on top of the seats and tossing skis and knee boards through em.  And in the early 90's the gold seemed a lil outdated so my grandfather had them redone to that beautiful cinnamon swirled buttercream. I think it was a great choice as it matches the hull pretty close and breaks up the gold a lil.

Some'a the other guys have their favorites but I don't think you can buy a better vinyl protectant than 303. You can use it on your windshield too btw. That's actually what it was designed for. Then somebody discovered it worked as well on vinyl.

Fyi 303 Products was recently acquired by Eagle One. Makers of Sta-Bil, Nev-R-Dull, etc. Dunno if'n that's good or bad, yet.

I use Buckeye 2002 Chemical Restorer.   Hard to find locally.

303 Aerospace Protectant is much easier to find ...

Do you need to do some wet sanding/compounding/buffing ?
It will restore the deep shine ...

EMS

Your hull will likely sand/buff out

You'll be amazed what some wet sanding and buffing will do - then it's just a matter of staying on top of keeping it covered and waxing it frequently

I bet if we spend a day on it together, Ron will crap himself ;)

Thanks shorty for your help today!!

Issues
1: did a stress test and found prop was cavatating under load. Gotta find a better one

2:temp rose to 200 when on plane but dropped back to 150 on idle (out drive impeller or pickup?)

3: dash wiring is need of attention, I knocked out the ignition lead with a bumper

4: engine mount (seriously I can't believe this model never used one so I ordered it to keep the stress off the transom)

5: adjusted the idle for for the new motor and she purrs

6: voltage was running low so I need to put my other alt in.

End water test and head home for a week of repairs. Thanks again super rapper producer shorty!
