I have a friend of mine that makes independent movies, he got one released to DVD and it's for sale at Amazon. I wonder if he'd be interested in producing a PSA about the causes/effects of Glastroliner's Syndrome and how to treat it.

We would have to do a clinical trial for scientific evidence, but my theory is the only way to effectively treat it is to have an empty bank account.

That's a pic from the shop where I work. We put 2 or 3 small boats up there with the crane for winter storage every year.

With weather expected to move in, I washed the boat today, continued drying it out and put the new cover on.

I'm always amazed when people say how much they love their boat and yet, leave it to rot uncovered.

Most of them want to be invited out on it... so they better behave! I can't have it on the street long with the covenant, but it'll be there for a few days, then off to storage until I can work on it.

Spent the weekend just cleaning, unplugging drain holes, scrubbing the upholstery, drying the boat out. I must have had 10 Gals of water in the boat storage areas...drains were plugged up with seeds, small twigs, etc...finally got them to drain, only to find out that the center drain is plugged, so its a slow trickle of water from the bilge area. I'll need to cut an access hole in the ski locker to see what's going on there.

Ordered the wrong impeller, so another one is coming tomorrow.

The best part of getting a new (used / old) boat is finding the PO's years of short cuts, quick fixes, screw up's, neglect, etc.
