New 4 stroke Mercs:
Please Santa. I don't need 2. One would be sufficient ...
-
Maybe they'll follow you home.
-
THAT is one SWEET setup !
I'll take the other one Doug ...
-
I bet even David doesn't have a prop like those ...
-
Do you have any information on it? Is it going into production? Why a 4 stroke vs. a 2 stroke.
-
Maybe a Verado 350 SCi with race cowling ...

If you're going to read David's posts, you have to check in every 1/2 hour.

Sorry, sometimes I take back what I originally write, for various reasons-
changed the subject of the thread
might have hurt someone's feelings or was sarcastic
was on my own ego trip
-
LOL Ok I'll check back.
-
I like 2 strokes so I'd pick this one ... well if I had an extra 30 grand laying around ...
Wonder what an 85 mph CV16 would be like ?

Gregg, you have good taste. Can you borrow from your railroad retirement fund for emergency reasons?
-
I could ... BUT ... I would need to get extra $ to pay for a divorce lawyer ...
-
Woman just don't understand. I talk Mustangs and Joy talks kitchen floors and teeth.
-
Some more poop on the Mercs: They're based on the 350 Verado block. Supercharged, meaning blower. But detuned to 300hp.(?) Weigh a staggering 660 lbs!
That't be like hangin another boat off'n the back of mine ...?
These prototypes were sent to Italy(??) for testing. (What ... our water ain't good enough?)

I hear that! Once bought Heather four new tires and shocks, and a toilet seat for Christmas.
Judging by her behavior afterward she did not appreciate these gifts ... I still don't understand? She needed all 3?
-
There's a reason yer single now Doug.
-
Think they'll let you test drive it Doug ?

Think they'll let you test drive it Doug ?
Probably not even if my life depended on it Gregg. Plus my Italian's a lil rusty ...
-
Mercury Racing did not even consider secret test Lake WBL and Don's Lake X. Guess we'll have to secretly test snowmobiles in the off season. Kip can help us.

This is what is called riding on the pad.

Very good selection Gregg - sampling from Mercury, Johnson, and Evinrude. Where is the entry from Force? Are we going to test in the day or night? Does WBL's 35 MPH speed limit hold for snowmobiles too? Think we should invite Marv Jorgenson? He would be an excellent driver, but then he would get bored driving anything under 150 MPH.

Ehh, we don't need no steenking pad ...
-
How far can he hold that wheely?
-
There's a reason yer single now Doug.
Thought I'd purged all my pics but found this from the very early days. Might be the only pic I have of her.
Adios muchacha. RIP.
-
Good thing I checked back 2 edits by David.
Sorry Doug I didn't know just guessin I guess.

Sorry Doug I didn't know just guessin I guess.
No problem. Hardest part is when I see someone I ain't seen in awhile and they ask how she is. Then I have to repeat the whole sordid story of her addiction & eventual overdose.
Moral of the story is don't get hooked on pain pills.
-
Changed my mind Santa. I want one'a these instead: A Hartley. 2 Suzuki hayabusa motors grafted together. 400hp in 'stock' normally aspirated 2800cc form. Weighs 198lbs.
edit. Oops! Here's the correct pic. Duh ...
