I thought something looked odd when I saw it on FB all the rails are white.

Wonder what the cost was?  The cost of the green CV-16 restored by them years ago was around $22,000 to $24,000.

I remember shortly after the rebuild he (CV16SS) had it for sale ... for about $10000 ...
They want over $20 G's for the V-143 they did for this years boat show.

Very nice work they do. I kinda like the white rub rail. Probably not too cool to keep clean.

I was thinking the same thing Ross, lots of docks around here have old tires for bumpers.   As for restoration work, theirs appears to be top notch, however, I have personally never seen their work in person like many of you folks have.   The drive is marked up 383, and if they actually went through a full resto of all systems, I'd be hard pressed to believe they are making any money selling for $22,000.  Always hard for us DIY'rs to put a price on labor, but a business has to.   Like to see the resto process they followed and what they accomplished, but in the end, its a beautiful Z, and personally I'm not a fan of green.

Ross I had a white rub-rail on a Larson I owned. Bad idea on a boat but I can appreciate what they were going for on the CVZ. Very tastefully done custom.
