What's this?
-
Fwiw I believe it to be a '65 V143 Jetflite. That used to be red.
-
I agree, mid 60's Jetfilte V143. The red metal flake is baked.

Such a cool interior with the center console..

And thank God nobody's sawed on it too much. Y'know later models didn't have the console. Which kinda makes sense cuz it was probly a pita to climb in'n outa. But ya cain't beat the cool factor ...

Very COOL !
Steering wheel is 1964 / 1965.
Color (Burgundy) is 1966.
-
Kewl looking craft, I'd give it the award for longest boat registration number for certain!
-
I'd say it's a '65, available in blue or red that year. The color scheme on the nose of the bow is '64/'65.

Doug what's the story on the boat?
Bring her with you in August.

Mark and Ron found it. For $200 bucks they couldn't resist.

Ya I dunno what's up with that Mike. Should be FL, then 4 digits, then 2 letters.
-
Yup pretty cool boats with the center console. Looks like there getting pretty up to speed on restoring thee old glastrons. This one should fit in real well.
Looks like the trailer might need a little shortening.
-
Not sure what the wooden spoon is on the port stern, kicker motor or trolling motor mount. Can't imagine it's a factory item. Will be a super kewl ride when complete, just like old cars, we lust for nostalgia.
-
My bet would be a trolling motor Mike. Needless to say that'll be deleted.
-
You know the title to this post is a bit of clickbait...

Good call Rich ...
-
Yeah I'd bet it's a '65. No tag found yet.

Hey man, don't be sawin on my old Holsclaw!
Granted she ain't purty. But with drag-link, trailing arms, progressive springs and shock suspension. That lil bugger tows like a dream.

Looks like only '64 - '66 had the console. '67 and later didn't have em, went to split windshield.

Sorry you feel that way Ray. Wasn't my intention.
Suppose my main motivation was to prove Mark and Ron wrong. Mark wanted it so much to be a '64. Cuz that's his birth year. And Ron was convinced it was a '66. So, either way, I win ...

Nonsense. Just loosen a couple bolts and hammer the winch stand aft. Which might require moving the axle aft as well. To ensure enough tongue weight. But that's okay cuz it's multi adjustable.
I love that friggin trailer. If only it were aluminum.
