Thinking about selling my CV23 to get a smaller boat and was curious of the market value. I am the second owner and it is all original. It has a great running 460 with Berkeley jet. I had it out on the Columbia and with a full tank of fuel and 6 people and I was cruising at 45 mph with more left if i wanted it. Every gauge and light works like it was new. The cabin still has the white fur on the ceiling that is in like new condition. The bow does have some sun fading and i'm not sure if it could be brought back, i have never tried. I do have the horn as well. The trailer is original and needs some work. The original surge breaks need to be bled and could use new wiring as some of the marker lights do not work.
We are looking to sell to make room for a smaller boat that would suit our needs better. I am hesitant to sell it as I know finding one this untouched is not easy. Just exploring my options. Thanks everyone!

There's one in Ohio .. Seem a little high priced.
Glastron Carlson CV 23 1977 - $15000 (Kettering)

1977 Glastron Carlson CV 23, new 460 Ford, new alternator, newly rebuilt Berkeley jet drive, trailer. New dual battery system with perko switch, fresh rub out of the gelcoat. Boat has original interior; cabin headliner is in good condition (3 inch white fake fur).
I have owned the boat since 2014; these are increasingly rare. May trade.

I bet that gel would buff out nicely and be worth the effort before selling. I’d say buffed out maybe 6k.

I know that this is an old thread, but since it is my blue boat above, I thought I would just remark a second on the price I was asking. I did have it for sale for a big price--but I also did not really want to sell it, though a number of older boats did go in my region for big prices and I thought I'd give it a quick try--
I do have the boat still--I wanted one ever since I saw one for the first time when I was about 6--phenomenal boat--

Welcome to the forum Andy !
It was high three years ago .. but about average priced now.
With gas prices now and this summer it's hard to say what it will do to boat prices.
Great boat !
Quite a few of them owned by our members ..

absolutely great boat--I keep it in storage now and have a pontoon that I can trust the kids with--trying to decide if we do the floor and interior this year or if I sell and look for either a metric or an outboard--ten years ago they were not that hard to find--seems like they are getting more and more rare--

I do my best to search the internet for Glastron's and Carlson's and list them here ..
Few nice CVX and Metric's for sale .. but they ain't cheap .. :o
