Good morning all:

Kathy form upstate New York..

I just took on a project boat. Help! I know nothing about it.

1971 Glaston v-163 with a tailor and a 50hp mercury.

I am looking for manuals, original parts, info on checking the ob to see if it runs. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Happy boating!

Welcome to the forum Kathy !
Most of what you want can be found here

eBay / Craigslist / Facebook Glastron groups are also good places to find parts.

Hey Folks: I am Tedd. Purchased the GT 150 in 1975. Spent last 2 years restoring. Not finished but making progress. Would like to know where you find items to restore. Found some from Poland. Would appreciate any suggestions. We were skiing this weekend and the GT is a great boat for it!

Hello All !

My name is Neil and I live in southern MN near Mankato.

I grew up in Northern MN on the water and my parents had a 1965 Glastron Futura 500 (110hp Mercruser I/O).
My father was very particular that we put the boat on the lift (with cover) and hose off the hull every time we were done for the day.
Before my father died last year he gifted the boat to my son and he now has become a serious Glastron fanatic.

From what we can tell, this boat is quite rare and probably the only one that is all original including the fully adjustable aluminum trailer.  My son has spent a ton of time on this site and insisted that we attend the summer gathering.

We are both looking forward to spending the weekend with fellow Glastron enthusiasts.

Hi all, I am a new memeber to this forum out of Helena Montana.  Wondering if there are any CVX owners in Montana and if so maybe reach out.  I travel the state for work and would like to get to know some folks.  Thank you
