If your password doesn't work...
« on: January 28, 2014, 12:48:41 AM »
Please use the 'I forgot my password' option.

I have a theory that if you were using a 'weak' password, that the new version of the forum software isn't letting you in...that or the encryption key changed and it can't validate your password until you change it.

(Both could be possible.)

of course if your password doesn't work **** YOU CAN'T READ THIS!!!

If you don't have a members list you don't have Doran's email address to get it changed. (I had a list)

Thanks.

Let's let the hackers figure out our password strength on their own Jerry, they don't need our help.

And, no, members may know my personal email, but the cgoamn@gmail.com is monitored by 4 of us now, and listed all over the place...so one of us could help as guests can always browse the forums & read postings.

The added password strength means less chance of hackers breaking it.  (All a good thing IMO.)

Old passwords shouldn't have changed...mine didn't, but I got a text message from another member saying they couldn't get in initially.

Not sure if it was because they couldn't remember, or the upgrade.  We can't see them of course...so I have no way to know.
