I'm gonna be late!

Guess its my turn for tire issues...making an extended stop in Clear Lake, IA for new tires all-around.

Sad part is that it completely grenaded the trailer on that side...

Need me to bring some tools for trailer repair?

I had a tire do the same thing on the 18 trailer and it tore up the fender pretty good.
I think this has become an addiction.

Been there two times before. No fun. Hope you get all figured out. Always carry a spare and don't run tires over 10 years old.

More than a few times here. Generally of late it's in the winter on the 10" Snowmobile tires so changing them is in the frigid cold and in the slush/ice on the side of the road.

That 10 year old thing is so very true. Don't run over loaded either. That's bad on them too. And even though I violate this rule on my CVX's trailer you should run ST trailer tires not "P" car tires.

I think the explosion and damage would have been worse with Bias ply tires. Most of our smaller boats can safely run car tires IMO but I probably wouldn't run them on a 23 or larger.
Doran's held air and was able to safely limp off the road. He would have been on the rim if Bias ply, I think.
That's just me but we don't drag boats for hundreds of miles either.
