1977 GLASTRON CARLSON CVX20 W/ 460 FORD/BERKLEY JET - $5,500 (LONG LAKE)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/boa/d/sarona-1977-glastron-carlson-cvx-ford/7200627759.html

THIS IS A COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED BOAT. THE OWNER BEFORE ME TOOK IT APART TO FIX A SOFT FLOOR AND THEN DECIDED TO TAKE DOWN FOR A COMPLETE RESTORATION. WHY? THE BOAT IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE THROUGHOUT. INTERIOR IS BEAUTIFUL AND ORIGINAL (9-10). THE GELCOAT ON THE BOTTOM IS PERFECT(10-10). ON TOP IS LIGHTLY FADED/HAZED BUT NOT ROUGH(7/8-10). MOTOR IS STOCK AND NEEDS A FRESHENING BECAUSE IT WAS PULLED APART FOR INSPECTION AND THEN SHELVED FOR A COUPLE YEARS (NO IDENTIFIED PROBLEMS). THE ENTIRE BOAT WAS TAKEN APART CAREFULLY WITH ALL ITEMS LABELED AND WRAPPED (EVEN THE INTERIOR). THE FLOOR AND STRINGERS WERE REMOVED BUT IN A WAY THAT THEY CAN BE USED AS TEMPLATES. I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE BOAT MOTOR AND TRAILER TO PUT THE TRAILER UNDER MY CVX20 OUTBOARD BUT HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP IT TOGETHER AS IT IS TOO NICE. EVERYTHING IS HERE! I AM NOT SURE IF I WANT TO SELL. DO NOT NEED TO. CHECKING THE WATER TEMP ON THE CARLSON FANS. IF YOU DO GLASS WORK (FLOOR) AND ARE INTERESTED IN GIVING ME A PRICE , CONTACT ME. THANK YOU DALE

The boat above was sold in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. The previous owner offered it to me for $1,500 in August, but I just was not in the mood to drive up there.

It looks like the seller is angling for a $4k+ flip. Good luck with that.

$2000 price drop ...

1983 Glastron Carlson rare CVX-20 Ski Machine / Oconomowoc, WI /$5800
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/671382867128792/?ref=product_details

This boat is exceptionally clean and nice, the metallic is bright and beautiful, the interior is in very nice condition, the 1989 GT 200 HP Johnson motor is especially strong and the Shore Land'r trailer is in solid shape.

There were not a lot of these boats made, they are collectible and becoming increasingly rare. If taken care of this boat will provide un-compromised fun and hold its value for years and/or decades to come.

This boat includes a full cover, a combination depth and fish finder and GPS speedometer (in addition to the 2 original factory AirGuide speedometers) the floorboards have already been replaced, there are smaller scratches on the hull, slight scratches on the deck and it likely needs transom work. It's worth well ove twice this amount-plus when this work is done: the buyer who buys the boat now will save thousands at this price.

I'm in Wisconsin, if you're not and you want it delivered to your door feel free to PM me for 2 great resources you could hire to do so.

This is one badass boat.
Highly sought after 1977 Glastron GT150 in great condition.

100HP motor runs great and includes 2 new propellers.

This boat was in a James Bond movie and still holds the world record for the farthest jump by a speed boat.

This boat has been well cared for.
Had it out several times this summer.

Includes trailer and fitted cover.

1978 Glastron Carlson CVZ-18 - $9,000 (Osawatomie)
https://kansascity.craigslist.org/boa/d/osawatomie-1978-glastron-carlson-cvz-18/7208162724.html

Super rare Glastron Carlson. Silver metal flake. Completely original. Not restored. Only thing new is carpet. Incredible shape. The CVZ model has the custom convertible option to make it an open or closed bow. Lake ready for next spring or summer. 305 cu/in small block chevy. Runs like new. I believe I'm the 4th owner. Original upholstery. The gel coat is in great condition (there are 2 places on rear hatch chipped). All of the gauges work. At some point a depth finder was added, it works great too. I have all of the original paperwork from when it was new from the dealer. You WILL NOT find another Glastron in this good of condition. Carlson's are very hard to find, especially in this condition. I would guess that there are only 3-5 of this particular color combo in existence!

-16 gallon tank.
-Stainless prop
-Top speed 65mph!

Single axle trailer with new tires and aluminum wheels with matching spare included with boat.

If ad is up, it's still available. I will not answer emails. No trades excepted. Serious inquiries only. Buyers with cash-I will put on water to verify everything stated in listing.

Shorty's 1977 CVX-16SS, Mercruiser 140 /  MN / ?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/classicglastron/permalink/10159787154783594/

Just a reminder that Id let her go. 77 CVX-16SS, Mercruiser 140.

All work was done this summer.

I did the Transom, Stringer (and added a couple stringers in the adjacent strakes, 8 from the transom forward), and Floor. I soaked the wood with thinned polyester resin before it went in. Its all glassed in properly, and gel coated inside and out. Better than factory. Extremely waterproofed.

New carpet. Interior is original and has sun damage at the tops (rough and some cracks).

I wet sanded the gel and buffed it. Looks really good but in the right light you can see some imperfection.

New impeller and housing. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser. New exhaust gaskets. New thermostat. New Poly tank. New fuel pump and filter. New Auto Bilge Pump. New 1000 CCA Marine Battery. Has a Hummingbird fish/depth finder in it, with Transducer mounted inside the bilge....

Probably missing stuff I did.... I went through it all.

Stainless 21P 13.5

Runs dang strong. Ive done 48 gps and Im confident shed break 50 with the right prop.

Needs carb work even after the carb rebuild. I think its leaking around bushings at linkages so could probably just do with a different carb.
Tilt and trim works great, but the trim stop and sending units are not wired - I do have new ones and a gauge, just hadn't gotten to it.
All gauges work, Tach reads kinda high so could be rebuilt or replaced.... Factory speedo works as well, but nobody knows how they read hahahaa

Anyway..... Im open to discussion. Id also be interested in some input on what people think its worth , especially those who have seen it in person.

I have loads of photos.
It's winterized now but if someone was serious, theres still a little time to get it out on a test. Or ears. Whatever. Easy enough either way
