1977 Glastron CVX20 Jet (Elk River)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/boa/d/elk-river-1977-glastron-cvx20-jet/7299454089.html

1977 Glastron Carlson CVX 20 ready for restoration. Rare boat and a classic. Wood has been stripped out and is cleaned ready for stringers and floor. I have all the patterns from disassembly. No doubt this is a project, however the dirty work has been done. The interior is in excellent shape. This is a jet boat with a 460 Ford. The engine is totally redone and just not assembled yet. It has been bored .030 and I have the complete engine kit to reassemble. Heads have been done, new pistons, camshaft, bearings, oil pump etc. I just picked up the engine last week from the machine shop. Windshield is excellent. There is much to talk about here, but again, this is a project but a good one as these boats are regarded as collectable. Please call for information as I have more pics etc. $7500 OBO for Boat, motor, trailer. I have previously restored a couple fiberglass boats and timing is just not working to finish this.

1979 Glastron Carlson CVX 16 SS - $6,000 (Parkland)
https://duluth.craigslist.org/boa/d/south-range-1979-glastron-carlson-cvx/7299701972.html

Hard to find and getting harder, 1979 Glastron Carlson CVX SS 16. This boat is in B grade for my tastes but better than most original boats of this type and age. The upholstery is original, and the gel coat is actually in really good shape. The hull is in great shape and the floor is solid. This boat is 95% original. It comes with a matching trailer that is road ready to go to your new home. It has a mercruiser 140 3.0L engine and outdrive. Comes with a stainless propeller for top end and an aluminum one for pulling skiers and tubes. I will only sell this and respond to people that include a valid phone number in their response. You will have to pick it up or have me deliver it for an extra charge. Cash only, and I am very firm on the price. You can find one for less, but you will get what you pay for. Also, try and find a good solid one. Everything works and the outdrive is in great shape. This boat will go about 50 MPH with the stainless propeller.

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorboat/kamloops/1981-carlson-glastron-c-500-series/1558573641

This boat is a great first timer boat. It is in great shape and has been taken care of. The upholstery is in good shape. Room for your friends, good little ski boat. It comes with a new flex-fit cover. Has contoured tinted plexiglass windscreen, stern rails , 18 -gallon fuel tank. It has had a new leg installed with service and water pump install, and the interior has been detailed. With the 125 hp Mercury it definitely has some get up and go!!

1977 Glastron Carlson cv23 - $4,800 (Elizabeth)
https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/boa/d/elizabeth-1977-glastron-carlson-cv23/7300488101.html

I have a 1977 glastron carlson cv23 in pretty good condition for sale.

The wife and I purchased the boat 3 years ago now used it for the first summer with no issues, had lots of fun with the chevy 350 motor pulling a tube.

At the very end of the season when I was taking the boat into storage she kept dying when I engaged the throttle and the trim controller seemed to stop functioning. Once I got it up on the trailer on land I was able to check int it further and all the parts are in good condition no leaks so I look under the dash at the wiring and it's a mess. Im assuming it is a minor electrical fault but the lights and stereo still worked fine.

I went ahead and winterized it because she fired up with the hose and suction cups and ran good like there wasnt any issues a few minutes earlier with throttle.
So we stored it indoors and it has been sitting for about 2 years.

Our plan was to restore the boat but were thinking about getting a Harley and MIGHT part ways.

Again the boat has been stored for years I personally havnt looked at her in some time but the marina manager calls me and chats me up every so often after he pulls the boats out and cleans them off beginning of summer for folks.

Only background I really have on it is that
The previous owners actually bought the boat new then their daughters husband took it over after they passed way down the line in the mid 2000s. The guy Had the transom replaced because it was in bad shape, put a chevy 350 motor in it which its actually a Chevy block not a mercury bottom end. Painted it red and white which the original color is a sparkle electric blue and white. Replaced seats flooring and carpets. Added a somewhat up to date stereo and then they used it for years for their family till we got it in 2018

4800
May trade for Harley

CV23 Glastron / Carlson 1984 350/260 V8 I/O 62 Hrs “Barn Find" - $8,400
https://panamacity.craigslist.org/boa/d/new-port-richey-cv23-glastron-carlson/7300968534.html

The CV23 was the Corvette 70s-80s. Friend saw it in Alabama 2019 outside of Car Detailing Shop. The detailer who was selling it told me, the boat was purchased from a boat shop by a Car Dealer in the 90s. The boat used in fresh water until last registered 4 / 1998. "Not used for 20 years". The boat was always kept in car dealers shop with cover until fall 2018, when detailer pick it up in to sell it for car dealer who sold his business. The detailer said they ran it for ten mins, it ran “OK”, then left it outside all winter covered with the original factory heavy canvas cover that came with boat.

When I saw it 4/20/2019, the original cover had leaked in center so main floor and engine got wet. No standing water in boat drain plug out. Carb corroded, old styled 80s thick carpet wet and some mold stains on side panels. Only 123 on hour clock. Gelcoat and hardware looked really good. Outdrive looked clean, SS prop clean and skeg not worn off at all. Couldn’t run engine the carb was shot. Turned over ok with battery, looked solid with potential, bought it.

600 miles home in the rain on 1980s tires but they looked ok and still on trailer. We drained oil & gas. New oil, gas and battery. We turned her over with no coil wire 15 sec, coil wire in, hooked up water turned the key she fired right off. Ran smooth, no smoke for approx. 30 sec. STOPPED. Wouldn’t turn over, pulled oil dipstick, looked like foaming coffee with heavy cream… “OH”well !
Drained oil pulled engine and pulled intake manifold. Block crack on both sides below lifter holes. No real rust and we didn’t see water in old oil. I believe after they ran it, they didn’t drain engine for the winter. They had hard freezes in north Alabama in 2018.
!!!!See the list of 2 Guys three months of work and “NEW Parts below:

Power:
Now have 62 Hrs. on Custom Built Long Block 350 - 5.7 - Roller rocker arms, Brass Freeze Plugs, New oil pan and Timing cover by. Anthony’s Marine Service, St Pete

Fuel tank 55 Gal cleaned & inspected (No marks, ware or damage seen). New fuel tank sender.

Interior Exterior:
Main deck plywood was water damaged from wet old thick carpet, in 60s-80s they only sealed deck ply with resin. New: 2-layer floor 5/8 + 3/4 Ply with 1.5 oz Glass & Resin on All floors. Color match nonskid floors. New original style headline, New indoor-outdoor carpet in cabin, side panels & New engine cover was glassed. NEW 2021 fitted full cover with PVC framework supports. Gelcoat was compounded and 2 coats of wax this winter.

Before I got the boat there are 7 sports about 3x3 that were “Professionally” repaired for gel coating where hardware was mounted. 4 were from a swim step, 2- were for longer side back handrails, 1 for older-styled wind shield? They were feathered in and sanded to 600 then buffed smooth. There are a very few spiders see photos.

Trailer:
Have new title in hand. Custom built for Glastron CV23, 5/1984 CONROY IND. Texas, it’s in good shape. Lights work. Original paint, some freshwater rust on axels, springs and brakes. Hydraulic serge brakes not working. Buddy Bearings. Tires original? they did 65 MPH and stayed cool coming home.
