New plugs, new points in the distributor, and new ignition switch. The motor runs good. Motor needs new exhaust manifolds. Interior needs work. It does have a boat cover. 1981 Glastron Carlson C500 / Morris, Minnesota / $2000
https://www.ebay.com/itm/114482620775

I am selling my 1981 Glastron Carlson boat along with a trailer. The boat is 16 feet in length and has a 115hp Mercury outboard engine. The boat is running and the hull is not damaged. It can get up to about 45-50 MPH. The prop is in great shape and overall this is a boat that has been taken care of. The upholstery and seats are new and in excellent shape. The paint overall looks greats although there is a little bit of fading on one side. The power trim is a bit sketchy. It seems to work the way it is supposed to about 50% of the time and the other 50% of the time, the motor doesn't move at all. If you are handy with electrical work, it's probably an easy fix- maybe a loose or corroded connection. The horn doesn't work at all, and the depth finder worked at one point but it does not work at the moment. Again, it's likely an easy fix. The speedometer works as does the tachometer. The gas gauge seems to be broken. It takes premium fuel. A fire extinguisher is included, along with anchor/rope and light. I've never tested the lights to see if they work. I will throw in a tube along with the rope.

I take the boat out a couple times a month and it starts right up. The boat does everything it is supposed to do in regards to steering, reversing, going forward, etc. It's very quick because it's such a light boat and can get up to full speed right away. There's no bogging down or smoke from the engine; anything of that nature. It's never gotten me stranded on the lake and it's very reliable. The hitch, the pulley, the rollers, and the chain all function the way they are supposed to. The tires are in good shape.

1984 Glastron Carlson 20Ft. Model - $800 (Bedford)
https://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/boa/d/bedford-1984-glastron-carlson-20ft-model/7219382655.html

This ad is for a nice Glastron Carlson 20ft. hull that is in need of an interior restoration and an outboard engine of 175HP to 250HP. This boat originally had an Evinrude 235HP on the back of it but I have seen them outfitted with as high as a 300HP engine on them. These boats are very popular and have quite a following and several clubs for them. Check out Glastron Carlson on Facebook and you will see the potential that this nice hull has. The hull is in very good condition with no scrapes or deep scratch's anywhere. The transom is in great shape and is very strong. The floors will need to be redone. The garnish moldings on this entire boat are in excellent condition and are all there. The trailer has 2 like new Good Year ST trailer tires on nice chrome rims. This will make winter fly by if you just put an hour a day into it you could be cruising the lakes in style by April. This boat will not last long at this price so if you have any interest please give me a call ....
and we will set up a time for you to come and see it. I will be posting pictures later in the evening or if you call I will send them directly to your cell phone. Thanks for looking!
