Look familiar...?  I believe thatís my old cvz-18 I redid in 2014. With new floor, carpet, motor and fresh clearcoat. Turned out nice and still looks good. Itís been at the gatherings a few times. Always had fun with it.  But unless he has put a new motor in it, itís actually a 305 motor out of a 84 Camaro with a marine cam installed. Only had 40k miles on it.
Past to present: 84 ssv-151, 76 cvx-16 ss, 77cvx-20 jet, 90 CSS-19, 77 gt-150, 2-78 cvx-16, 79cvx-16, 79 cvz-18, 78 cv-23, 73 cv-16, 74 cv-18, 89 219 Futura, 76 gt-150 jet.

More pictures here Ö    http://forum.cgoamn.com/index.php?topic=7876.0

1978 Glastron GT-150.  Completely restored. 115 Mercury engine.  Great trailer. Some accessories included. Clear title in hand. $3,500

The rest of the storyÖ

Iím offering this here first, hoping it goes to a fellow enthusiast rather than some fisherman whoíd mount a trolling motor on the bow or someone who would let it sit outside uncovered.  Iím bringing it to Treasure Island for the meet to use myself or it could be considered ďFree deliveryĒ for a buyer also attending.

This ďBond BoatĒ started as a 1978 silver metalflake boat that had seen better days (trolling motor on bow).  I wanted to make it look like the 1972 boat which made the record setting jump in Live and Let Die so the restoration began.

About 8 years ago I separated the halves and tore it down to a bare shell.  First to go in were new stringers.  Rather than a single piece of ĺĒ plywood, I sandwiched 2 layers of fiberglass between 2 pieces of 3/8Ē ply with staggered joints to get the needed length.  That gave me 6 plies instead of 5.  After coating with a resin/ acetone mix they were glassed in.  I changed the bilge configuration to accommodate a center mounted bilge pump.  I didnít like how the original offset design left some water trapped in the bottom.

The transom was made of 2 layers of coated ĺĒ plywood with a couple layers of fiberglass between the layers, between the hull, and on the face.  I added larger knees tying into the stringers in anticipation of a larger than stock motor.

Next to go in was a ĹĒ plywood floor.  After coating with the same mix it was screwed down using stainless hardware, then I put a layer of fiberglass over the entire thing.  I donít like how carpet traps sand and moisture so I painted everything with alkyd enamel.  No regrets there.  I opted to add vents up front with no foam below the floor to let the floor breathe and hopefully prevent future rot.

The storage locker, toe kicks, and seat bases are all new wood matching the original design and painted with enamel. The storage locker has 12 volt and USB outlets as well as cup holders inside the door.  There is no stereo.

The wood on the original seat uprights were in good shape so I reused them.  I made new seat bases.  I added new foam and had everything covered with new white and silver carbon fiber look vinyl with orange welting.  The back curtain has the Glastron logo embroidered on it and is held down with Velcro.

The paint was all new 3 or 4 years ago.  It is Signature Finish from Fabula in Florida.  I sent the owner some pics of the Bond Boat and he mixed up a special color for me.  Itís a roll on/ brush on application.  I may not have mixed it properly for the conditions and I ended up with a lot of orange peel.  You canít see any roll marks and there are no scratches.  I didnít want to make it worse by trying to wet sand it so I left it as-is.  It looks great from a distance. Lol.  There is a little crack where the transom meets the upper cap.  It not structural, just cosmetic.  Thatís a problem area on the GTís.

While I had the trim off I polished everything to a mirror finish.  It has lost some luster over the years but it still looks better than the original cast finish.  The bilge pump with auto switch, rub rail insert, cleats, bilge pump outlet, stern light and light socket are all new (3 years ago).  The GT-150 badge on the bow is a machined aluminum piece I polished and painted.  It hides a custom 12 gallon aluminum gas tank in the bow.  The football emblems on back are period correct.  I cleaned up and painted those.  The running lights are the cat eye style, one on each side.

I have the gauges that came with the motor.  They are included but not installed yet.  The horn, lights, and bilge switches are new.  The steering wheel matches the style used on the Bond boat and has SS inserts.

The Mercury 115 Tower of Power was installed recently.  It has an integral trim pump so I filled the hole in the splashwell that allowed all the hydraulic lines to go in to an inboard pump.  I added a tilt/trim switch on the cowl so you can tilt the motor while youíre at the back to install the transom saver.  It has a 19 pitch SS prop.  Iíve only had the boat out one weekend with this motor and it ran amazing.  I didnít GPS it but weíre guessing I was in the upper 40ís, low 50ís.  It started chine walking at top speed so it could use some dialing in for stability at top speed.

The trailer got new wheels, tires, bearings, bearing buddies, winch strap, bow stop, transom straps, tongue jack, LED tail-lights, paint and stickers 3 years ago.
Iím also including the orange accessories.  Thereís 2 dock lines, one stretchy dock line (love it), one long rope for tying up onshore, tool box, whistle, 2 flashlights, 2 bumpers with orange ropes, and a paddle.

The restoration was mostly completed 2 or 3 years ago.  Itís been in a heated shop since Iíve owned it.  It hasnít sat in the water more than 3 days at a time a couple of times a year.

I hate to sell it but I need some money to finish up my CV-23 and do some other things.

1988 Glastron CVX 23 to restore inc trailer and some parts. - $1000 (Saint Paul)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/boa/d/1988-glastron-cvx-23-to/6710322322.html

I bought this boat with intentions of a complete restoration, and converting it to outboard power. Unfortunately, I don't see myself having the time to do this project for at least a couple years. The boat title is in my name. I'm working through a snag with the trailer title, but should have it in hand soon.

All of the parts shown are presumed working, or unknown, except for the trim pump - it will need a rebuild or replacement.

This will be a great project for someone. With a Chevy 350 repower it should see speeds around 60 MPH. There's nothing quite like a Glastron CV23 / CVX23!

Rare James Bond Boat! 1981 Glastron Carlson with matching trailer! - $3900 (Tippy Lake)
https://fortwayne.craigslist.org/boa/d/rare-james-bond-boat-1981/6718230323.html

This is a rare 1982 Glastron Carlson C-537. It is an inboard/outboard with a 140hp engine. This beauty is metalflake sunset red. Very low hours. It was bought new and only used for family vacations. Runs perfect! (How many used boat owners can say that?)
The ONLY reason that we are selling it is because we just don't make the time to use it. The only time I drove it was when I launched it at our boat ramp and put it on our Shore Station. Even though it was summarized and put on our Shore Station at the beginning of the summer, I used it ZERO times this year.
This is the type of boat that was used in the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die". (Only they used an outboard version)
Serious buyers can take it for a test ride on Tippy Lake.
Comes with a matching trailer for only $3,900
Include a Shore Station with new canopy cover for an additional $3,000

1980 Glastron Carlson Intimidator CVX-20 , Blue Color For Repair? - $2500 (NE Mpls)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bpo/d/1980-glastron-carlson/6716486484.html

I have a Rare 1980 Glastron Carlson Intimidator CVX-20 , blue gell coat upper color , light blue lower color for repair. Has a 2 wheel trailer that came with it. Kind of a SAD story , a tree fell on her and cracked the upper hull in a few spots. Broke the complete dash with the steering assembly out of it. I do have the parts that were broken out with the steering cable still attached. It is in a VERY repairable condition. Needs fiberglass work mainly on hull. The lower half of the hull is in good shape , transom is intact ( looks like its been redone ). Still painted the original light blue color with blue sparkle gell coat. DOES NOT HAVE ANY WIRING , INTERIOR SEATS OR ENGINE BLOCK OR HEADS. Originally came with a Mercruiser 260 V8. I have the hood assembly for it but it has a square hole cut out of it for a tunnel ram to stick thru. I do have the cut out piece. I have the side aluminum rub rails ( no rubber inserts ) that mount the upper and lower halves together as seen in pics. I also have 4 iron exhaust manifolds , intake manifold , rebuilt Quadrajet carb , valve covers, water pump , pulleys , belts , hoses , thermostat housing , dist cap , plug wires , fuel pump , p/s pump , hoses , and brackets , alternator and brackets , rear bell housing ( nickle plated ) , basically have most or all of everything behind the engine. Also have to original bilge pump. No trim/tilt pump. I do have the out drive upper and lower unit. Its a pre Alpha unit. The upper shaft gear on the lower unit is twisted some. I have the 2 polished exhaust stacks , polished grab handle , blue plexiglass windscreen , polished side windscreen mounts and the blue gauge sun screen , 2 seat mounts , complete set of original gauges with the gauge mount panel ( has cracks in it ) original foot board in front , original console and steering wheel and the throttle control assembly with mounting panel . I also have a few other parts with it that I can't think of. I've been storing it in a storage unit on the trailer for a numerous years and I've lost interest due to health reasons. Also need the space. It'd be a shame to just let her sit in storage somewhere. I really want it to go to a good home so she can be fixed back up and made water worthy as these are VERY RARE works of Glastron Carlson art. Came out of U.P. of Michigan. I DO NOT have a title. Will give Bill Of Sale. Calls or texts at # show contact info
