1977 Glastron Carlson CVX-18 - $1800 (Janesville)
https://janesville.craigslist.org/boa/d/janesville-1977-glastron-carlson-cvx-18/7014228792.html

1977 Glastron Carlson CVX-18 with trailer. 302ci engine with Mercruiser outdrive, stainless steel High Five propeller and extra aluminum 3 blade propeller. Boat is mostly original and runs and drives great but has interior issues that needs restoring. I have owned this boat since 1995 and I am only the third owner. New 2 years ago: rebuilt starter, all lower unit-to-transom bellows, lower unit seals, gimbal bearing, and lower unit lube. New water pump 3 years along with engine oil change. It has only been on the water once a year for last 3 years. The exterior has a few minor scratches but is overall very good. The interior has been damaged by an animal that got inside this spring and there are a few soft spots in the floor. The bilge pump, lights, horn, and all gauges work. This is a classic boat that is fun to drive but needs some TLC. Asking $1,800 or best offer.

1979 Glastron 16 cv - $600 (Milwaukie)
https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/boa/d/portland-1979-glastron-16-cv/7013741839.html

1979 cv16 115 hp Mercury with power trim. The transom has a couple of cracks and the floor has a soft spot. Ran a couple years ago and it's been sitting, but will start up. Has a fuel leak from one of the carbs, and needs a battery. Nice trailer and boat has title. The value is in the trailer and motor, as the boat needs some work before use.
Come buy it before I decide to get it going and sell it for considerably more.

1957 GLASTRON SURF-FLITE Only 25 Built (Uber Rare) 35 HP Johnson Super - $2500 (Irving)
https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/boa/d/irving-1957-glastron-surf-flite-only-25/7019174837.html

FINS! The Glastron was the very first Fiberglass Boat ever made and the first 24 prototypes were started in 1956. This Boat is 100% original and 100% complete. The engine will run but does need a little repair on part of the wiring harness which is a very easy repair. I believe this boat is one of the original 25 prototypes that were originally built in Arlington Texas and I live 15 miles from there. This Boat has been stored in a barn since 1971 and is very good original condition. You will never find another one like it in the world. I never received the Title so it will have to be registered

There were only two models for 1957. They were the Fireflite and the Surflite which was a basic fishing/utility version of the Fireflite. Please see the History section for info. on the early Glastrons.

See more on where to find identification tags on the '57 Glastrons in the "Identifying Glastrons" section.
After corresponding to Bob Hammond I've learned a few tidbits about why some '57 Glastrons have the
metal sidespears and some don't and why some have the metal emblems and some have mylar stickers.
Bob thinks that the metal emblems weren't ready when the first '57s were produced and the mylar stickers were used until the metal emblems were ready. The metal sidespears were dropped later in the production run to keep costs down.

Glastron produced 25 boats in 1956, all of which were '57 model Fireflites and Surflites. In 1957 902 boats were produced, some of which were '58 models. Bob Hammond informs me that by August of each year the following year's models were already being built. 7 of 12 months would equal 58 percent, but allowing that sales increased at a strong rate from the beginning I'd have to assume that the '58 models produced would account for at least half of the 902 units built in 1957.
This would total production of '57 models at less than 500 and of those probably less than 400 were Fireflites. Of the '57 Fireflites I've seen at least half are models without the sidespears.

Therefore, any '57 model would be a low production number and judging by the registry listings if you find a '57 you'll be lucky!

.   Water is getting hard throughout the country, folks, well most folks don't think boats year round in the northern climates.  Toss in the holidays, and not the best time to sell a boat.
