Interior project finally happening
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:27:52 PM »
I've had to put off my interior project for various reasons but now I'm on a roll and finally heading down the path to new seats.

Landed these beauties for $100 for the pair and free shipping on Ebay. New. Seller is only 2 1/2 hours away. Was searching online late last night and came across these. Great price for something that won't rot and are pretty much bullet proof. Plus, I don't have to spend several hours building a pair.

Not a perfect match for the originals but will look very nice and be rock solid.

Now I need to finish the rear bench seat frame I started over a year ago. I'll be glad to get that out of the workshop.

Yeah, those are great shells.  I've been looking to, but haven't found a set like that...very cool.

Interior project moving along.

I posted my 88 SPL motor and sold it in four days. Guy with a 16 1/2' bass boat loves it and it gives me more than what I need to put in a new floor, carpet, and interior.  Met with a guy on  Wednesday at my work who is going to cover the molded buckets  and the new rear bench using marine foam and  my design. Price was good and I've seen and heard of his work. Been in business since 1974 when his father started it.

Hope to start removing the floor this weekend. Carpet is on order. Let the fun begin.
