Spark plugs don't just "Go Bad" check the ignition Module. Most auto parts stores can do that.
10 year old spark plugs are due for a change, but I don't really think that's the problem either.
And I'm not telling the whole story, either. At the meet, I could get it to run if someone else cranked the starter and I played with the throttle to open farther than the neutral stop. Once I could get it to idle on its own, I could run it, shut down and start like normal. If I let it cool down at all, I had to start over. To me, that sounds like a fuel problem. But after the carb rebuild, I'm at a loss.
By the way, this is the Seaflite, not the CVX-20.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled thread.
