GT-160 1975 - looking for a good home
« on: November 08, 2020, 07:32:53 AM »
I have a 1975 GT160 looking for a good home.

Located in Merrimack NH.

It was a project I started and came to 90% completion.
My life has changed a lot and I am unable to complete the restoration and am looking for a true glastron collector to pick up where I left off.

Local pickup only. Due to health reasons I can not deliver.
You can have trailor. Which needs some work but will ride short distances.

The boat is free to a true fan of glastons.

I put a lot of work into this boat. New transom, built and upholstered custom seats, new floor and runners, new dash and electrical, countless hours of fiberglassing, and a paint job ( which i will admin, not the best best job ever, but I tried).

At this point I will not be able to enjoy the boat so I rather someone else can.

No engine, sorry. I have an engine and we can negotiate a price for that.

I spent thousands of $$$ restoring this boat and I know I will never make my money back so what I am asking is fair.

No engine, sorry. I have an engine and we can negotiate a separate price for that if you are interested. 1985 60hp Johnson fully rebuilt crank and topend.

Hi, I am not sure why you cross posted my craiglists ad? And I am sorry If broke any rules.

I am selling the boat on Craigslist. However if there is a true glastron collectors out there willing to pick up where I left off I would be happy to donate the project at no charge.

In fact the windshield was donated to me on a glastron collectors forum.

Nope you are fine. I just didn't know if I was breaking any rules or being called out as scam.

The forum would not let me add more then one picture.
Thanks.

I really hope someone else can enjoy this boat as I am no longer capable of completing the project.

It is unfortunate that you need to part with your project, from the pictures it appears that you have put forth a fair amount of time and money towards it's completion.  Hopefully someone will love it like you have.
