Spent 12 hours on the St. Croix yesterday in the V172. Boat handled the waves pretty well. Didn't see too many old glastron's but did run into Allan on a great big Yacht! Had to launch at a dirt ramp in North Hudson as the Hudson ramps are back under water. Good company, a little webber grill, sandy beaches, and an old glastron and you can't go wrong!

Great way to spend the day. Hope you had some shade to take cover in. Burn in about 15 minutes these days.
Boat looks awesome BTW.
Did you ever find an issue with the motor? How is it running? Getting over 4k rpm?

Have not figured the RPM issue yet. But being that the floor wood is saturated. I think she took on some "Water Weight" and that may be part of my issue. Eitherway, 30MPH on a choppy river is more than fast enough for now!

Outstanding Jason. Sounds like a great way to spend half a day.
Ah well so what if she's a lil soggy, still looks great! Kinda like my ex-wife ...
