I enjoy the walking with my wife Joy. If fact, it is hard to keep up with her she walks so fast and is so dedicated to losing weight, as I am. It is a time to converse with each other for over an hour. Also we are now shopping for groceries together each week - another time to make joint decisions and do things together.

I think my weight should be 180 pounds. Need to lose weight off my stomach area. Weight is now down to 191 pounds. Fast walked and sprinted today at the indoor YMCA for over an hour. But as I was running, someone pulled out in front of me and I pulled a leg muscle trying to avoid them and limped to a stop. I'll be okay. Just a minor setback.

Think exercising and losing weight are addictive and that is a good thing. I feel so much better with the loss of 10 pounds already.

Walking the usual 4 3/4 miles each day through the pain of the pulled leg thigh muscle. Getting better each day. Weight down to 190 pounds. Lost my cellphone in the mall walking, but it was turned in and they called me. Second time it has been lost. Going to buy a pocket watch chain around belt loop and phone clip to prevent it from getting lost again.

The people at work who have the smartphones have the Otter Boxes. I have the Samsung Convoy 3 with the combination case and clip. The clip is not tight enough to prevent it from slipping off, so I will put hole in the clip to attach the chain, with the other end on my belt loop.

Typical valentine's day exchange, the husband gives a practical present (running shoes in this case), and the wife a deep, loving, emotional card and candy. Now we have matching running shoes, Joy affirmed her love to me in another way, and we love to walk together daily.

Weight has been down to 188 pounds.

Chain now attached from cell phone case to belt loop.

Not on your life Gregg. Turtles taste twice as good when you are on a diet.

That's great progress David.

I need to get serious about loosing weight again too. I stepped on a pair of scales yesterday and oh read 127.5 the other 124. It validates my home scale and really pisses me off. I walk about 3 miles a day give or take a mile and am not burning enough calories. If I could get to 200 I'd be very happy. I'd sure feel better and I'd have a lot more room in my waistline for my preferred carry piece.

A friend of mine started the DDP yoga and after a good laugh about that he did exactly what I want to do. He dropped 10 pounds a month and got down to 205. I would love to be 6' 195 and at 42 I don't see why that's not a possibility I just need to cleanup my diet and get back to Planet Fitness daily.

Stuck at 182 pounds. May be slow going from here on. Oh well, Rome was not built in a day (neither are Glastron hulls restored in one day).

Harder to lose pounds now then in the beginning. Now at 179 pounds walking 5 1/2 miles per day (7 laps at Northtown Mall) and watching diet. Goal is 170 to 175 pounds by the end of 2015. Eating alot of fruits, almonds, 3" chicken Subways (footlong cut into fourths), cottage cheese, and yogurts.

I'd love to lose weight. Being sick is how I'm doing it right now. After this episode is over I'm headed back to planet fitness and hope by the end of summer to be 200 pounds. I'm tired of the low 240's. My vice is Pepsi. I drink entirely too much. I already walk nearly 4 miles a day I just need to get back into the 30 minutes of exercise in my target heart rate every other day.

I applaud everyone who has the determination and stamina to keep on the health kick.

3" chicken sandwiches? Wow. I'd eat 8" ers if they had that on the menu.
