Well done! I drove by about a week ago or so and your garage door was open. It was nice to see "the other Glaston" in the neighborhood even if she was tucked away!

Finally is right! About time to use the boat again as the last time was 6/27/2015. Here are pictures from that trip - St. Paul Park to the Hasting Dam to the Ford Dam.

Motor fired up this morning with out any problems ...
Pig tail for trailer on truck cleaned up, just have to hook it up to make sure lights work ...
She's ready to go visit Don on Friday !

Early this morning it was pretty cool, 70 ish and motor was running good.
Got 53.7 mph / GPS, but was turning 5600 rpm's (red line is 5250 rpms) and has been about that (5200 to 5400 rpms) in the past, and this was fresh off the trailer with a FULL load of fuel ...  Must have been the new impeller adding some RPM's ... LOL
Latter in the day I was seeing over 5600 rpms, but couldn't beat early top speed.
So much crap in the water I was afraid to keep it pinned.

During one of the short top speed runs I kept trimming motor until ... I think I had a blow out ... motor revved up, boat lost speed like I cut throttle and pitch to the right like the start of a bad chime walk ... Won't do that again !

I'm getting pretty good at balancing boat on the rounded pad/bottom at full trim/speed ...
Also had problems in the past with the drain plug leaking, I removed it last year and sealed/bedded it again .. well it worked because no water in boat after pulling plug today.

Nothing like seat time for learning how to balance the boat.

Might want to have the blades bent to 23" pitch or borrow a 24" Laser II.

I've been thinking about getting another Laser II 22P and having it bent out to 23P.
Might be able to hit 55 mph then ...

Also set my trim tab to center to see what would happen, steering wise.
Wonder if that was giving me the extra RPM's ?
Going to remove it, as there no torque steer.

Got a bunch of little stuff done today ...
Mounted the new deck disc and decal.
Couldn't tell the difference between deck and round spot under disk that hasn't seen sun in 40 years.
