Title: Tonka Jim's fight (not boat related)

For those of you that don't have Facebook or at least Kelly Barrett on Facebook. Jim has been diagnosed with cancer. I thought I would share his caring bridge page so everyone can follow along with what is going on.

Thanks for sharing that Brandon. I was not aware. Jim is not one to back down from a challenge so I am sure he will do well with the fight. We are all pulling for you Jim!

    A warm Thank-You to all my Glastron friends for the phone calls, texts, & messages here and on my Caring Bridge site. 

    I am doing well and finished the second week of my six-week therapy. I have chemo once a week and proton radiation five days a week. Mayo is a great place and are taking great care of me. 

WASH YOUR HANDS AND SAY A PRAYER, CAUSE GERMS AND GOD ARE EVERY WHERE!

Week four complete, two more to go!
I'm doing very well with little side effects, the main one being very tired all the time.

I hope this virus is all over for Red Wing!

Just saw on Facebook that Jim has completed his cancer treatments!

Just wanted to say Congratulations on completing them and on keeping up the fight!

Thanks Brandon for the club update.
The 2 weeks after treatments were the worst.
I'm better now and headed back to Mayo next week for Immunol therapy.
It's some kind of IV that is suppose to boost my censer fighting ability
That will happen every two weeks for a year.
