On an i phone, if you have ibooks installed when you open the file there is an option to open in ibooks.
this will load the files on yer phone so they can be viewed even if you have poor or no service.
i split the index from the map so ya can flip between the 2 without having to scroll up and down when yer trying to find something.

This just in: The boat launch at Lakefront Park in the City of Hudson opened on Thursday, July 17, 2014. City staff will continue monitor water levels on the St. Croix River.
