Something I'm always looking for feedback on is the Saturday group meal.
I get a lot of conflicting feedback (you'd be surprised) that usually can be boiled down to 2 categories, those that want the group supper, and those that want to keep the meet registration as low as possible.
We benefited greatly from Brian's chef experience in prior meets allowing us a pretty great meal at minimal costs, safely prepared.
*For 2015*
I have always liked the idea (its just an idea) of reaching out to a local club (Lion's, VFW?) and see if we could provide a mutually beneficial event...they provide the Saturday meal, and we pay them a reasonable, per head fee. They get the fundraising $, and we get a good, hot meal, with no liability risk to the club or its volunteers.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Just thinking out loud ...
So it wouldn't be in the price of camping/slip/launch fee's.
Members could pay VFW/Lions only if you wanted to eat ...
