Title: Pics of the Transom and it's issues.
Post by: Waterwolf on June 12, 2021, 11:14:27 AM
So the transom has big issue as you will see. Coosa board looks like it is in the near future of repair. My question how much to cut for  repair. Do I need to make a template of the back end? I have watched several videos but none that cover the CV-16 replacement. Also it looks from one pic that the boat was originally red. I like the purple but want metal flake in it. Gonna leave it for the pros.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Seacast could be an option, several threads on the site where it was used without splitting the hull.    Doug Campbell has used it with success.

Doug & Ron used a poured transom, but had to make a mold of transom first.
