My CV-23 jet project is up for grabs in Florida
« on: April 15, 2016, 10:17:12 AM »
Carlson Glastron CV-23 Jet Boat Project - $3200 (St. Cloud, Florida)
http://orlando.craigslist.org/boa/5533968865.html

Lost my indoor space to do fiberglass, paint,, and assembly. If this project is not picked up then I have no choice but to destroy this beautiful hull and part out the rest. Keeping that in mind, If you would like to make offers on anything here ... Feel free to PM and reserve your parts.

This is a 1976 Carlson Glastron CV 23 daycruiser. Features: fresh rebuilt Ford 460 engine and all running gear for it, I.E. headers, carb, Mallory electronic ignition, new HD reverse starter, new Hardin controls and gauges. Fresh rebuilt Berkeley 12JE-A jet drive with fresh powdercoat , place diverter with hydraulic control, all brackets, mounts and drive hook-ups included. All running gear has been specked and tested.         SEE Video of engine test : https://youtu.be/UfNBfV_IsIU
When in doubt ... Rip it out !!

I would be interested in the diverter on the jet
I think this has become an addiction.

I have the hatch hinges. I did just see a solid fiberglass hatch repro for sale for like $35 on ebay. I do have other cool parts like the bell housing for 3 point Berkeley jet mount with top mount and bottom mount starter options. A Mallory billet distributor with the Mallory 609 electronic module , A nice set of water-cooled headers for through the hull applications, and all the drivetrain parts etc.

The weather here in Florida is already mid 80's with 85%-95% humidity . The coastal winds meet in Central Florida and produce torrential rain storms without much warning . Not ideal for outdoor paint and fiberglass work.
When in doubt ... Rip it out !!
