Pay for camp sites and boat launch at gas dock.
Boat launch is included with camp site or hotel room.
Key to shower rooms is included with camp site.
There is not water or electricity down by camp sites, But is by rest room/showers.
With camp site or hotel room you can park boat on beach over night.
More then one boat will fit in large slips, T.I. is OK with that.
We park empty trailers on south end of camp site.
If you like to keep your boat on trailer at night, you can park it by your camp site.
Bring some fire wood if you have room in back of your truck, TI has fire wood but they charge for it.
If your new to boating on the Miss. and St.Croix rivers, ask around for some one that you can follow.
It's marked well, but easy to get into wing dam's or lose sight of marker buoys.
If you have never been thru a lock, also ask about it. Pretty easy if you know what to do.
For anyone new to MN. here is the 2018 Boating Guide and other info … Hope it the same as the 2019 version ..

PLEASE do NOT park trailers or car/truck in parking lot above camp area.
PLEASE do NOT park cars / trucks / trailers on mounds by camp sites. They are burial mounds.
Any one care to add to this .. let me know

The fuel dock/convenience store was not manned full time last year, kind of frustrating to walk down there to find them closed. Might have been a staffing issue? The office at the RV park can provide all the same functions, and is much easier to stop in before the trek down to the campsites.
-
Shawn might know for sure ...
I think .. There isn't a rest room in the gas dock, so if only one person there, they have to lock up and use the rest room on shore.
I think .. On weekends there are two persons on gas dock.
Didn't know there was an office by RV site.
-
We made our room reservation for Friday & Saturday nights.
Will park on sand bar or trailer over night depending on weather.
-
More info added to above post ...

We booked a room at the hotel this morning for Friday / Saturday night. We went outside the room block reservation, as we needed a handicap accessible room. We are in the Buffalo tower (at $174 & $219 with AAA), which ends up a little cheaper. AAA gets you a 10% discount (offset the crazy taxes and fees a bit anyway). We will probably just leave our boat on the beach overnight.

Yes during the week there is usually only one person working and they are doing multiple things.

The RV office is in the building between the camper lot and the new parking area. Not sure if there is a walking cut through to the primitive area. I've found it easier to stop there and get paid up, shower cards, etc than chasing down the staff. They have a coin laundry and ice as well if anyone needs. It's also the last stop on Sunday heading out.

Hey everyone. New glastron owner here. 2019 GT205. I was recommended this event from a fellow glastron owner. Where should I book. What are some recommendations besides treasure island. And what is the boat slip scenario. Do I purchase one through the marina for the weekend? How much is it. I want to book asap so all the help would be great. Thanks

Thanks. I plan on booking anytime now. Called earlier and they still had rooms available.
I hoping I can get more involved in this forum so when I arrive to this awesome event, I know some fellow boaters and can have a blast!
I told my wife and she was thrilled about it! Any other recommendations for the trip? Coming from Milwaukee, WI

If you go here .. There are picture and info from past events.

Always something cool at each event ..
Bunch of guy from Europe came over for event,
Art Carlson's son and Grand son came one year with there new boat.
Every one has a great time and keeps coming back year after year !
We get a lot of old G/C .. We would love to see some new Glastron join us !
-
Welcome!! It'll be great to see a new one! They look awesome, no longer the cookie cutter white blobs of the late 90's, mid-2000's...they have style & heritage again.
Looking forward to it!
-
I'm looking forward to it. Coming from 92 maxum 100hp. Cant wait to let her sing with the rest of her Glastron family. Thanks for all the warm welcome. We are newer younger boat owners, but we are boaters for life now. Cant wait to meet fellow boaters of the Glastron legacy! Cant wait!
-
Very COOL boat Mike !
-
Thanks..... It caught my eye when we were looking around the show room and bam there she was... Just waiting for me to give her a great future! :) I didnt know much about Glastron but the sales rep suggested it was the best bang for your buck plus I loved the overall design and look of the boat. Plus. I cant complain about the 250 hp alpa merc motor. I was told its got quite the kick.
-
One other thing. What do I have to do to register for the event?
Planning on coming Thursday night - Sunday

There is no registration. Just bring your boat and come have some fun.

T.I. takes care of all details .. So we just show up and have a good time !
If you get a room at T.I. or camp site or RV park .. Your launch fee is included.
If you want a slip that would be extra, but as stated most just park on beach, which is free.
One year it was cold and raining so we spent some time up at indoor water park and swim up bar.
There are all kinds of places to eat in the casino, plus bowling, gambling, etc.
Most of the action and people will be down at camp sites.
Would be a good idea to hook up with some one that knows the river before heading out.
Or try to run with a group of boats, there are wing dams, locks and "No Wake" zones that are almost hidden.
Times for runs and etc. are near top of this thread.

I'd definitely want to take a few runs with one of you or the whole group. Any info would be great so we dont make any mistakes. Anybody willing to help out a new comer?
-
There will be plenty of people to help you out.
Just let use know.

Reba McEntire is playing at the Treasure Island Casino Saturday, August 17th. That should be a big draw.

A few of you may have heard Summer is no longer managing TI Marina. With that comes some changes. The weekend of the meet is a very busy weekend with big name concerts all weekend. They are allowing the bigger boats to park on the beach on the concert weekends. However the spots are first come first serve. If you are paying to stay at you can still park for free on the beach otherwise its $50 a night. However as I mentioned there is no reserving spots and while we are out during the day someone may take your spot. I am working on seeing if we can get an area reserved for just us. Also at some point this year the beach is supposed to be extended so it is the same length as the docks. This should help but no set date.
I already reserved 3 50 ft slips that we should be able to park 6-8 boats in depending on sizes. It is $25 per boat per day to park in the slip. If you want to make sure you have a spot to park I would call now. If the beach is full you can always pull your boat and park it back by the trailers.
I will let everyone know more info when I find out more. I was told all of this when I confirmed that the 3 slips were still reserved.
-
Thank for the update Shawn.
-
Hey all. Looks like Sandy and I will be making the trek to TI to join ya'll this year, as long as the weather holds out. Planning to bring my CVX-20. Would you have space for it in one of your reserved slips for Thursday morning ...to... Saturday evening? Shawn, can you help with this or who do I call? Thanks!
We'll be staying in Hastings Wed - Sun, not optimal I guess, but little cheaper than TI resort and not many other options available.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
