had a 14 l 19 on it....yesterday we switched to 14 r 19.....got the steering to work good....with only me in the boat I get 4800 t0 5000 rpm....if I put 4 people in the boat it has a hard time planning....I am thinking about a 13 pitch prop...what do you think?

Some times one prop won't work for every situation, or you can find one that work OK, but not great for most situations.
Best bet is to try as many props as you can find, all on the same day / time.
A new prop might work better then one that has been re-worked, or re-worked prop might work better, no way of knowing until you try them.
You'll be the best judge of what works best for your needs, with the motor is in it's rated RPM range.
I have a Laser II 22 P prop on my motor, but keep a 19 P aluminum prop in the boat as a spare.
If I had 4 people in the boat and wanted to pull a skier, I would change to the 19 P prop.
