Another new guy

Hello all, My name is Nick. I'm a river rat on the St. Croix anywhere from Stillwater, MN to Hudson, WI. Sometimes I go a bit more south, but would need to have a trip planned to do that, most of the time I'm doin the beach bum thing on the islands in Hudson.
My boat is a 1984 CVX-17. From what I can tell, there aren't too many 17' Carlsons floating around out there, which is kinda cool.
Plans for the boat are to get a marine radio, and beef up the audio a bit. Still the original twin knob tape deck with EQ above it. Speakers look to be for a car, and sound like they have been wet a few times. Also, the trim pump has a leaky internal valve, and slowly lets the motor trim down when sitting or under power. Its not bad, just bugs me because I want a rock solid trim.
I'm not going to be on the river again until at least next year, most likely next fall. I'm finishing up my active duty contract in colorado. Left the boat at home so my dad can use it while I'm here. So if you see my boat floating around, its my dad who will be in it.

Nice looking boat you have there! That tow vehicle does not look like it is ready for the interstate though.
